  5. Behavioural data on the website and the platform: This includes your booking history, questions answered, past paper score. This is to personalise the platform for you, such as generating bespoke reports on past papers. 

  6. Educational data: For Students, we will ask you to enter your current, predicted, and desired grades to personalise the platform to your educational level and track your progress. Data will also be collected about the user’s school, school type and the exam board. 

  7. Tutor Application Details: We can process your application to become a tutor through the platform. The details collected include your educational background and qualifications, your tutoring subjects, your profile picture and video resume, your resume, the prices you charge and your availability. 

  8. Communication History: To enable communication with other users of the website and with Education Equation Support Staff. We store details about your communication history including user messages, requests you have made and your interactions with the Education Equation team. We may share these with law enforcement upon request.

  9. Identity Verification Information: When you apply as a tutor, we ask for verification that you study university you claim to, have a valid ID and an enhanced DBS check. We may also ask for information to demonstrate that you have the right to work in the UK

  11. We collect some information from all users of the Education Equation site whether you are registered with us as a customer or tutor, to fulfil our contract with users and to enable us to provide the Education Equation website and services.

Automatically tracked information includes: Cookie information, your IP address, details of the your using to access the site, the pages you visit an the actin take, times and dates of actions you take on the website and platform, your interactions with our email, telephone number and in app messages, the source of your visit and / or previous webpage before visiting our site and your page response times. 

  13. Tutor Capacity Information: If you create a profile as a tutor on our site, we collect information on your on-platform behaviour, capacity and interactions with users to show you the most relevant requests and show student and school users the most relevant tutors.

Your tutor from Education Equation and the platform itself may share feedback on your progress.

  21. Local government: This will include educational data about school and local area educational performance. It may also include details about free school meals and pupil premium.

  23. Other Users on the Education Equation Platform: users through the platform can rate tutors after lessons, this information is shared with you if you are a tutor and may be displayed on your public profile.

Our Company collects your data for data processing to provide and improve the services provided by the website and platform: we use this information primarily to fulfil our contract to provide you with the services that you request and related services.   55. We will keep your personal and behavioural data for one year. Once this period has expired, we will delete your personal data or sanitize it to remove any identifying information.

It encrypts all your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet.
